Projektbeschreibung:


The project:
The National Society of the CRC is a humanitarian institution of private character. It is recognized by the Colombian State and as integral of the Red Cross International Movement and the Stocking Red Moon whose mission is to prevent and to alleviate, in all the circumstances, the human sufferings; to protect the life and the health and to make the human person respect, in particular in time of armed conflict and in other situations of urgency; to try to prevent the illnesses and to promote the health and the social welfare; to foment the voluntary work and the readiness of the members of the Movement, as well as an universal sense of solidarity towards all those that have necessity of its protection and of its attendance; to promote and to defend the Human rights, the Humanitarian International Right and the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross International Movement and of the Stocking Red Moon.

The CRC was founded in the year 1915 and it covers the whole national territory by means of 31 sectional and 245 municipal units. It develops activities of prevention of answer to disasters, and health and protection to most vulnerable people. Their humanitarian work is executed primarily with its voluntary personnel's contribution, conformed by 35.000 people of Youth's groupings.

The Colombian State recognizes the educational programs that it executes in the whole national territory, among which graduates and courses are included in the areas of first aids, emergency brigades, primary attention of health, auxiliary nurses, pre- hospitalization services, resolution of conflicts, among others.

Volunteers Tasks:
Multidisciplinary work directed towards street children and those in risk in terms of health, recreation, social well-being, help and collaboration, in order to develop human values and provide informal education.

- English lessons

Working Schedule:
The working schedule would be flexible, but especially toward the end of the afternoon and part of the night or during the days Saturdays, given the readiness and the volunteers' facilities.
