English Knowledgment required The volunteer has to be prepared to live in a conservaty society. The volunteer must respect the rural and local culture. Must be someone that can tolerate and respect various religions. The volunteer must have a frendly and receptive attitude and behavior.
Projektbeschreibung:
The Organization
OUTREACH has worked with over 27,000 rural women and organized them into over 1800 self-help groups- The organization has capacitated communities through participatory approches and enable them to manage integrated watershed development programs and implement over 75 projects. The organization has carried out soil and water conservation measures and sustainable agriculture techniques in over 47.000 hectares of land in drought prone area.
The organization along with the community-based organizations have leveraged over 197 lakh rupeess for on-leading to poor women as micro finance during 2005-2006 itself. Over 3000 women have used the loan to establish micro enterprises to improve with mostly illiterate women, have been capacitated to conduct credit and savings activities independently.
OUTREACH is also a resourse organization, which has conducted research, evaluations studies, participatory approaches, impact assessments and has trained non-profit organizations, Bank and Goverment official both within and out side India. OUTREACH has the vast expirience of working with local donors, Goverment, corporate sector, builder and international funding agencies. The organization has collaborates and builds network with other larger Non-goverment organizations (NGO's) and grassroots NGO's
What will de particpant do?

Tasks
Collect information and data for impact monitoringShare and traiangulate the data with staff and community
Analyse the data in sonsultation with the project stadd and community
Share the findings with the community and other project sattf
Write success stories, case studies and process documents
Participate in project meetings, sharing workshops, training programs and help in organizing and managing them
